"It's all about the light" - and being in the right place at the right time to capture that light is much of the art of landscape photography.
During my two expeditions to Antarctica, I've been lucky enough to be in just the right place at the right time on many occasions.
Fiddling with little buttons on camera gear whilst wearing three pairs of gloves in -35C temperatures isn't a lot of fun. But it's worth it to obtain pictures (and memories) like these...
